Troy Polymer Picatinny Rail Covers
I received the Troy rail covers and the fit and function on the Midwest Industries Quad Rail was excellent. They slide on easily and adjust fore and aft easily as well.
The Brownells customer service is the best I experience over other gun parts companies I occasionally deal with.

Beautiful
They fit the vibe for my M16a4 build perfectly!
Great Product
Clips right in place, perfect fit.
Best I've tried
These rail covers by Troy are just perfect.
Work great
Hold really well. Not quite easy install but they will go on with a little effort.
Great Covers
Great covers that work great on a Midwest Industries two-piece drop-in handguard. All you have to do is slide in the covers up to the point where the "tab" is cut into the cover. You can use a bullet tip or similarly sized device to hold "up" the tap, then finish sliding the cover the rest of the way onto the 1913 Picatinny rail. Compared to other rail covers, this is also more affordable for what you get. Some companies will charge you a similar price for just one cover versus Troy's 3 pack. I don't know what the other reviewer's problem was. He either had a wildly out-of-spec handguard or has an extremely difficult time on figure out one the simplest installations of any accessory on any firearm.

SIG 516
First as always Brownells shipping was fast and my complete order arrived. I ordered these for a Sig 516 upper and two problems specific to that upper showed up. First in order to get them on the side rails you have to remove either the front or rear screw that holds the top rail on. Not a problem but that lead to the second issue. The website says these are 6" the package says 6.2". While this may or may not be an issue but you cannot install these without obstructing either the front or rear QD hole comletely and the other partially. You might be able to notch the cover around the handguard screw so that one QD hole wascompletely open.
Ok if you can get them right..
I bought this to put on the Daniel Defense Omega Rail setup that I recently installed on my Colt LE6920. All of the videos I've watched made the installation look like a snap. It didn't go that way for me. The fit of the rail covers are *very* tight. It took a while to get them in just the right spot where the lock would push in fully. On one of them I never did get the lock to seat properly. They do look and feel nice when they're on, but I eventually gave up and decided to take them off. That was even more difficult than pushing them on. Ended up having to us the plastic end of one of my gunsmithing hammers to tap the covers off. I ended up going back to the snap on "ladder" style ones from Magpul. If I try to put them on again in the future I may put a little oil on there where it meets the rails. Perhaps it would go on and off more easily. YMMV but for me these just didn't work out.
