Designed as a drop-in upgrade for the standard AR15/M4 pistol grip, the MOE-K Grip provides an extremely low profile and compact design with a steeper grip angle compared to more traditional styles. The more vertical grip angle is optimized for use on PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) configurations and improves comfort and control on short LOP rifles that bring the primary hand in closer to the shooter's body. The thin profile and lack of backstrap 'beavertail' also makes it an excellent choice for shooters who prefer a smaller grip circumference.

cosmetic complaint

My complaint is mostly cosmetic. I'm building a light weight 6.5 G deer hunting rifle. The MOE-K works as described in the Brownells description and on Magpuls website Product Details, ". . . provides an extremely low profile and compact design . . .". I purchased this grip because my research showed this is one of the lightest grips in it's class. But unlike the A2 this MOE-K does not have a continuous flush and smooth curve transitioning from grip to receiver. I am using Aero Precisions M4E1 lower receiver. Even though it's mainly cosmetic I can feel the raised portion of the grip. I have disabled hands and the AR15 platform is the only gun design allowing me to grip and hold a hunting rifle. I need every 1/8" to aid me in reaching the trigger with my fingers. I believe I can still sight in my rifle but eventually will replace with tried and true A2.

Slim grip but still fit's my big hands.

It's pretty nice feeling grip overall and I can comfortably grip without problem it's a bit slim but works for me regardless, Very good polymer construction. Would definitely recommend it to people with small to medium hands might be okay with people with slightly big hands.

nice for a chassis

Fit well on my Indian Creek Design Chassis, but because it is so thin it was harder to install, I had to jerry rig my screwdriver. The length, width, and grip angle are really great if you shoot with your thumb on the trigger finger side of the grip, I would highly recommend it for a chassis system or any shooters that shoot this way. I bought this for its weight and grip angle and it works great for me.

Ok for the price

Was ok for the price. I prefer the beaver tail style AR grips like the Hogue ones but the gun I put it on only accepted the MOE K type.

Good, slightly smaller grip

Good grip, the ones I've gotten have been smaller than normal for an AR grip. I prefer that, some may not. Install was a a tiny bit difficult compared to a normal grip, something to do with the screw and really tight fit to the receiver, but thats compared to a regular GI grip.

HK on your AR

I bought this grip to try it out and I put it on a 870 SBS with a mesa tactical kit. It feels great but to me its a little short. If they extended it just 1/4" or 3/8" it would be much better. It also gives you the HK plastic lower feel which I like. I will definitely buy another for my SBR im building.
