AR-15 MAGAZINE 6.8/ 22 NOSLER/ 224 VALKYRIE

AR-15 MAGAZINE 6.8/ 22 NOSLER/ 224 VALKYRIE Reviews & Ratings

Make the most of your 6.8mm chambered AR with long-wearing, extra-tough steel magazines. Hardened steel bodies with tempered feed lips hold their shape and won’t flex, bend, or deform. Tempered steel springs help maintain reliable feeding and function even with the heavier 6.8mm cartridge. Lightweight, Magpul brand, nylon composite followers are marked 6.8 to avoid confusion with AR magazines for other calibers. These magazines also work with the .224 Valkyrie and .22 Nosler Cartrdiges. Available in 10-, 15-, or 25-round capacity.

SPECS: Steel, blue. Fits. AR-15/M16 rifles chambered for 6.8 x 43mm Rem. SPC., .22 Nosler, and .224 Valkyrie

Not worth the cost
Purchased two mags several years ago. Finally decided to use them and one would get stuck on the follower half-way through firing it. I'd remove the mag and the remaining rounds could be dumped out. Cleaned both mags and it still happened. I've had better luck with the Uni-mag than PRI.

Magazine falls out of rifle
I can't recommend this product and will be returning to Brownells. If mag is bumped, it falls out of rifle. If rifle is fired, mag falls out. Mag body is too small for mag well. Never a problem with other mags in this lower. The mag I bought is defective.

2 out of 6 didn't work
I took six of these magazines to the range four worked ok. One wouldn't seat in the magwell, and one froze with three rounds still in it.
