Exactly as advertised
Installs way easier than a cheap non adjustable block. It does exactly what it's supposed to do with no issues. Great fit and finish
Its pretty
The fit and finish is nice. tuning it can be a little tricky. It takes some time and quite a few rounds to get dialed just right. It is a "set it and forget it" type of adjustable gas block. That being said, I've got three of them now and they are a budget friendly option for over gassed guns.
Odin Works Low Profile Block
For this product, Odin changed from their click adjustable style and they use two set screws-one for adjustment and one to lock it in place. This style is bad for a couple reasons-when shot a lot, it freezes in place so you can never readjust and sometimes these work loose before freezing in place causing you to lose your adjustment. Also, they could have trimmed this model up more, especially on the raised section where the gas tube goes.
Horrible
Screw works loose as others have said. I tried everything to get it to work. Don’t buy it look at Superlative arms or aero or something like that.
Trash
I put it on my .300 BO pistol under the handguard. I shoot suppressed and unsuppressed. This had no detents. You just kind of guess and leave it. Less than 150 rounds and I know the screw moved couldn't tell how much. I'm replacing it with the Superlative Arms one I have on my DMR. I gave them a chance. Meh.
Set screw came loose
I ran this block in a multi-gun competition gun for 500-800 round before the set screw came loose completely blocking my gas port causing the gun to not cycle.
Dont bother
I waisted 60 rds trying to tune this to my new 6.5 build. I even called the guys at Oden and asked for some help. One of them told me straight out to replace their product to make sure its not the gas block. They are that confident in their stuff?? Needles to say, I did replace the gas block and poof! My riffle cycles now and works fine. I would save the money, or spend a little more for a better brand.
Block split at adjustment screw
This gas block is too thin around the adjustment screw. Mine split all the way up to the gas tube, down to the barrel, and the entire length.
