I use this with it's corresponding trigger. Excellent

Nickel Teflon Trigger Hammer
Pair the trigger hammer with a Teflon trigger, seems to reset the pull easier.

Works GREAT with Schmid trigger!
Got this to go with the Schmid trigger. It went in fine using PSA springs disconnector & KNS pins. Works REALLY smooth for the money! Id recommend this hammer/ trigger if your looking to upgrade a basic/ budget build or just save some cash.

Far Beyond Expectations....
I bought the nickel teflon trigger and hammer along with a JP 3-1/2 lb spring enhancement set. I'd never installed a trigger before, but it isn't rocket science. I quickly checked a couple YouTube videos to ensure I had the springs aligned correctly, and voila.... It took me less than 5 minutes to remove the old set and install the new trigger, hammer and springs. There is ZERO creep and the trigger breaks cleanly. There is no "crunchiness" that often accompanies a mil-spec trigger. Smooth, creep free? All for less than $55? That is a home run. I bought a Geissele Super Dynamic (SD-E) Enhanced trigger for the build I'm currently working on, and I almost feel like I should have just bought another pairing like this and would have saved a bunch. I'm sure the Geissele will be amazing, but this set-up far exceeded what I expected.

simple and effective
Of course the price is the first reason I ever considered buying a nickel-teflon trigger/hammer set, but performance is the reason I ordered them again. I don't generally mind the standard, rack-grade triggers so much, but a creepy, long trigger pull is never really fun. Sometimes milspec triggers can lighten up a bit, in time, with lots of use, and become fairly smooth - but not always. Nickel-teflon coated triggers have a smooth/slick feel to them, and might give the false impression that your finger may just slip off of the trigger, but that's definitely not the case. A smooth and predictable break are probably my favorite characteristics for a trigger to have. My trigger pull gauge shows these teflon trigger/hammer sets have a 6.5 pound pull with standard milspec-weight springs - immediately after installation. I have noticed these teflon coated parts have a break-in point (after they have been together for a few magazines fired) and work together to smooth the trigger pull and reduce the weight another pound or so. I prefer not to mess with different weights of trigger springs - I like them to go bang regardless of the primer's hardness. These really are great parts to add to a rifle, if you are going to add anything at all. I would recommend trying these before spending hundreds on any fancy 2 pound trigger - these may be all you really needed. Install them and forget about them - they are milspec in every way plus that additional nickel-teflon finish.

Good hammer and sale price!
Just installed this hammer and matching trigger. Clean crisp break and none of the gritty feel of standard mil-spec trigger. Kept original springs so no change in trigger pull weight. Just much smoother pull.
