Double Star handguard
This Double Star free float handguard was a great purchase. It is exactly what I needed to complete my National Match clone. Easy installation, easy timing for gas tube. Very rigid after installing the handguard tube. AND... looks downright cool. Thanks Brownell's for stocking the item and making it easy to purchase.

Exactly what I was Looking For
I was wan ting an in-expensive forearm that would allow a suppressor to go inside of it and this was the ticket.

easy to install
This is the cleanest looking hand guard I have found great value and great buy for a sporting rifle

Good Value
Good quality, great price and delivered as promised. Not as light as the skeleton models but sturdier. Limited air circulation may not allow cooling as rapidly as others. Works for me.

Perfect Handguard
This is the perfect handguard. It freefloats the barrel, the ID clears the gas block, visually pleasing with clean profile; no clamps or screws to make it look stupid. Nice solid tubular construction that can be unscrewed off and used to beat the snot out of someone you don't want to shoot. If you use a suppressor, that's where it really shines. The clean tubular shape goes perfect with the shape of a suppressor. Things that are not so great about it: You can't mount a bunch of junk like flashlights, vertical grips, iron sights on one side and red dot on the other. In other words you can't Hollyweird this hand guard.

Exactly what I needed
I couldn't find a hand guard to work with the gas block I was using without hitting the block. So I went with the 12.5 inch tube to stop just short of the gas block. Looks great, easy to install with my barrel wrench. Would defiantly recommend

Nice light weight hand guard
Used this hand guard for a PCC build with a Foxtrot Mike barrel and an NFA upper. The 7" hand guard was perfect for this application, light weight and a good diameter for a tight grip with the support hand. Made for a nice and nimble PCC build.

Excellent for use with suppressors
Installed this on a Palmetto Armory 9mm upper that has a 4" barrel. The original handguard had too small an interior diameter to handle the 1.375" and 1.5" O.D. suppressors I wanted to use on the firearm. There are no MLok, Keymod, etc., mount points, but at 4" in length I don't think there was enough real estate to add lots of accessories anyways. Problem solved!

Worked great
Used this over my 16" Brownells nato barrel. After several rounds (100 +) it does get hot. Nothing you can do about it. It gets the job done for simple hand guard and not spending hundreds of dollars for a high speed guard.

Big bang for the buck!
If your looking for a good quality hand guard without a lot of bells and whistles this is it... Installed in 5 minutes. I shoot competition and this is all I need..For the money its well worth it.. Bryan
