Widows son
As good as it gets. Unlike the Mbus 2, which are good, the pros are smaller, very un obtrusive and steel. Designed for serious use.
Only two issues
This is a very sturdy optic. Rugged and flat. I do have two issues with it though. The first being that it does take up two notches on your rail. On my particular rifle that prevents it from sitting at the furthest front notch. The second being that When I first went to sight it in the front post was not moving up or down when I turned the adjustment tab. It would rise but then click right back down into place where it just was. I eventually had to take some pliers and hold the post while While I screwed it all the way up and all the way down. kinda upset that I had shot so much ammo and it was the sight having an issue. BUT, I am a Magpul fanatic so I forgave the sight it works perfectly fine now.
Good Back up.
I use this on a Rugger SR556e. This is good as a set for back up sights, but I would not use this for a stand alone iron sight, just a back up. It can be a bit difficult to adjust elevation. Also it is slightly difficult to snap up into position. But all of these cons may go away with some time and more use. Over all its great quality and works well out to 300m on the range.
Great for a BACK UP iron sight
Good sight. I love that it is steel instead of aluminium, because it is on a piston 716. The tool-less adjustment is a bonus. Its use is for a back-up iron sight. It does not 'button lock' in the open position. If you are using a folding front sight as a primary sight, go with a locking sight. Apparently, some people do not read the description, or understand that concept. It does resist going down; as a back-up sight, it is great.
Pretty good sight
I'm rating this sight as only 3 stars because it I had a issue where I could not adjust it up or down. After toying with it I adjusted it up so high that almost came off. So, not it is adjusting up and down like it should be. But 60 rounds later just to figure this all out at home was kinda frustrating.
Very low profile, but could be better
The sight folds very low, but could be made more solid. Pay a little more and get the Troy BUIS
