Great pins! Work as advertised.
These pins are a lot easier to manipulate in a tight gun. I have a couple of guns that you almost have to drift the pins out of. I had a customer ask for these pins but they failed to let me know that their lower was a Bushmaster Carbon-15. The pins still work but because of the reinforcement on the Carbon-15 the pins are a bit short. Just a word to the wise. I didn't think about that until I installed the back pin. Still works well though.
Don't forget to grab some detents!
They look and work great but didn't come with springs and detents.
Pins are undersized
The finish and design are near perfect. Only issue is the pins are .2455-.246. The standard pins I have from various brands over the years measure in a variety of.2475-.248. Dont seem like much but it stacks up quickly. Bought these hoping to ease functionality but they increased receiver slop on a already somewhat rattling receiver set. Wish they fit as good as they look. . Will be returning. Wish everyone would standardize on .248 for minimum pin size. Miss those Armalite NM pins we had years ago.
