No Snap Ring Groove
Having assembled five ARs and researched many parts, in particular Ejection Port Cover parts, I had never seen a rod without a snap ring groove. My mistake. If you look closely at the photos you can see there is no groove, just knurling. I think this should have been pointed out in the item description.
