Obsidian Arms AR-15 Complete Armorer's 12-Piece Punch Set
I picked up this punch set for my first AR-15 build and it made the process so much smoother. Everything I needed was right there, properly sized for the job, and the quality was immediately apparent. No bent punches, no frustration — just the right tools that actually fit.

Longest lasting with best warranty
We went through punch sets every 30 days before buying these punch sets. Well thought out and last 3 times plus longer than any other we bought previously. Best part is they have a lifetime warranty and the company replaces them for free if/when they break. Keeping in mind that if you have a 1/16" diameter punch and you hit it with a sledge hammer or put it in a small whole and bend it the 1/16" part will bend or break regardless of what material or rockwell it is. These punches do outlast anything we've used in the past, but I can not overstate how valueable the lifetime warranty and excellent customer service from Obsidian is.
Great Punch Set
I have built numerous AR lowers using this punch set. All the the necessary punches are included for assembly. I see no wear on any of the punches. Looking at some of the pictures of the lower rated reviews looks to be misuse to me. Mine have been stellar.
Excellent first set
I bought this as a first pin set and it works great, I havent encountered the issues other reviews have described. Was able to build with no issues, and the product packs away neatly into the included tool role.
Great set!!
I have used this set to build two ARs. Everything works as described. I of course don't beat on my 1/16 punches but the rest of the roll pin starters and punches work great. They have been used to install and remove roll pins with no problems.
Has Everything In One Place
Has all of the punches necessary to build an AR-15 in one set. I didn't have any issues with durability but I've only used them to build one AR. The only drawback I encountered is that the punches are unmarked making it difficult to tell the difference between some of them if you have vision issues like me.
Junk
Broke two roll pin punches right away installing an AR15 gas tube. Cheap junk. I cannot believe these things were made in the US..

Just like the other review, 1 punch broke (causing damage to my new lower) and another one bent. I recommend spending your money on another kit.
RU Kidding?
Purchased from Brownells and received 04/24/2020. Used 1/16 punch to remove ejector pin. Tapped lightly twice and the tip broke off. Anyone know where you can purchase a QUALITY Pin Punch set? This obviously isnt it. Shopping Brownells for years. Great company and no problem returning item. Just want something that will do the job.
