Very nice classic style barrel
Barrel parallels USGI style barrels. Parkerized exterior, chrome lined bore, taper pinned front sight, and just done right. The delta ring was a nice matte finish and not the shiny nitride stuff that seems so typical these days. The weld spring for the handguard was a little soft and I put a stiffer version in, otherwise this assembly is perfect.

Exactly what i needed
Last piece i needed for the build i was working on. Shoots great.
Great for the price!
Nice retro grey coloring to the barrel and FSB.
Shot accurate to 25 yards right out of the box and onto my upper, hasn’t really needed a breaking in period.
FSB is aligned and no complaints at all!
Can’t say too much about longevity or anything yet, but so far I am happy!
I bought the Socom barrel which is heavy but the U.S uses them as they are more durable for sustained fire.
Seems like a decent barrel (14.7 Government).
I like chrome-lined 4150 barrels for ARs and everything looks good on mine: the chrome lining looks well done; the Parkerization is even on everything; the front sight base (FSB) is straight; and it even comes with the front sight post, sling swivel, and a delta ring installed. My muzzle device spun on fine and the barrel extension slid into my Rock River Arms upper receiver without being too tight or with slop. It has M4 ramps. The barrel markings are behind the FSB, so they're covered by whatever handguards/rail you use. I've only put a few rounds through it so far, but I got a five-round group of about 1.5 inches at 50 yards using a red dot sight and XM855 ammunition (which certainly isn't precision ammunition!) It slings XM855 cases to about 2:30, but that's with a standard carbine buffer and spring. I'm very pleased with this barrel.
