Nice addition for pistol length AR15
Replacing the muzzle brake with this blast can makes the gun much more enjoyable to shoot.

Great product
If you are running a shorty without a can, this is a great product! The design directs the muzzle blast away from the operator and lessons the visceral pounding! Great in confined spaces like shoot houses and vehicles! This is my 4th purchase and my teammates appreciate the reduced blast!

Great product
Great device. I put on end of my ar pistol and it quieted it down significantly. I did notice it recoiled a bit more but the trade-off of being able to hear after shooting is well worth it

Works Well on an AR Pistol
Replaced the muzzlebrake on a 10.5 in AR pistol. Which made the pistol easier to shoot. Fit and finish is great.

Great product for a great price
As an FFL-07 we use these blast cans often for our AR Pistol Builds. The can itself is easy to install and works great with a wide variety of Handguards. Also, its low profile which makes it a great choice when using an extended Handguard with a sub-length barrel. Overall, the Midwest Ind Blast Can is a great option for any build for a very good price.

Just what you need for a good price
Solid build, one piece aluminum. Heavy, but not too much. Thin profile should fit under any handgaurd if needed. I installed on my 10.5 pistol and pushes all the concussion down range. Flash also not as distracting and blinding, although still very prominent. Makes recoil feel more "harsh". Hard to explain with a 5.56 firearm, but recoil impulse change observed. All in all, it is what I needed for a good price.

Outstanding Flash Can
I have several of these flash cans on pistols and SBRs in calibers from 5.56 to .458 in barrel lengths from 6.250 inches to 14 inches. They are very well machined and very light weight. Even though they are aluminum I have not seen any erosion even after many hundreds of shots. Unlike other multi-piece flash cans, this one does not need to be taken apart for cleaning since it is a one piece design. I cannot tell that the MI FC creates any back pressure so I dont think this device will help if your pistol or SBR is not ported correctly and needs more back pressure. However, it does an outstanding job of directing the muzzle blast away from the shooter but as with most all flash cans, it does not reduce muzzle flash or recoil. As far as the timing of the slots with the flutes, one of mine it is that way but the other 4, plus two 5.56 MI flash cans are timed as the picture shows, but even if not, that does not affect function in the least, purely cosmetic. Included with the device is a crush washer for easy installation and they are small enough in diameter that they will fit under even the skinniest of rails with an O.D. of only 1.2 inches. The really good news is that the cone is more than large enough to pass even .458 sized bullets even though it is listed as a .308 flash can.

works like a gem
works great, easy assembly, great value. I ended up putting this on a different rifle and I'm happy with the results. I even put a Gunskins pattern on it.

defective or just poor machining
The blast can that I received had the cuts at the end out of alignment with the flutes not aligned as shown in the picture making it impossible to get it to look right when mounted.
