BCM Mil-Spec = BCM Mil-Spec
I have tried many stocks over the years but once I tried the BCM I was sold. Very solid construction, fit all of my Mil-Spec buffer tubes with no issues and does not wobble at all. If you read the direction sheet it's as simple as it gets to install. I am running these on about six different rifles at the moment but plan on changing out several more shortly. This stock is a well thought out and a great addition to my ARs. I just wish Browells carry all the different colors.
Great stock
I own this stock in black and it's great. I dunno why a few people had to complain about it. It's ultra light it's strong and if yours wobbles deal with it or get another one. Mine doesn't have this problem.
no more wobble
I have a few oer stocks and none of those is just a good as the BCM stock, they all have a slight wobble to it even wih all kinds of friction lock and whatnot. As soon as the bcm stock slides onto the buffer tube, I knew right away this is good, becwuse it has a slight resistance to it as it is sliding on.
Excellent. Lightweight. Specific use.
Here's the deal: this is a lightweight, small, super tough stock. I currently have it on a MK18 clone. I like it a lot. I have used SOPMODs, MOE-SLs, SOPMOD-Bravos, UBRs, CTRs, and ACS stocks. Each one has a specific feel to it. So it's going to be user preference. This is a smaller stock with a slight angle for cheek weld. Great for getting in and out of vehicles or tight places. It's well made.
somewhat disappointed
I have been a long time user of BCM products and maintain they make an excellent rifle and most of the products they bring to market are well thought out and practical. Upon receiving and install i like how using the firing pin for install takes tension off of the locking mechanism and allows the stock to slide on easily. I do however wish that the tip of a bullet or an included tool was subbed for the firing pin as it would not require some take down of the rifle. the cheek piece is not substantial like a sopmod but feels bigger than it is. I found it to be very comfortable. the qd sockets are great in how they used the form of the stock to make them limited rotation and the buttpad is comfortable. The stock also feels very light but rigid. My gripe is that the stock fit so loose that I checked the instructions to make sure it wasn't for a commercial tube. fully extended it rattled fore, aft, left and right, I tried the fit on a DD, CMMG, LMT, and Vltor with the same results. I ended up using 4 layers of electrical tape to get the tightness to my liking. Had the fit been better I would say that I love the stock but considering that the B5 bravo and CTR are in the same price category and provide MUCH better lockup I would be hard pressed to recommend this stock over them.

I expected higher quality from BCM. The fit and finish were average, and it had a loose, sloppy fit on my mil-spec tube. I returned this item.
Disappointed
This is supposed to be a mil-spec stock. Took it home and it will not fit on any of my mil-spec buffer tubes.
Difficult to install and adjust
Takes brute force to remove from buffer tube and does not adjust easily. Too much tension needed on the lever. Appears well made, but doesn't seem any better than some of the less expensive stocks out there. If you like this style, go with a magpul acs-l, which increases the lop as well. I did and I love it!
