The BCMGunfighter Gen 2 Ambidextrous Charging Handle preserves the enhanced performance of their original "tactical" AR-15 charging handle - with a multiple improvements that make it even easier to operate, more reliable, and yes, unique-looking. The updated Gunfighter continues to provide a more generous grasping surface than a mil-spec handle, coupled with a smaller profile, while it eliminates the risk of breaking the latch roll pin when you yank aggressively on the handle. BCM redesigned the Gen 2 handle’s geometry to take the stress off the latch pin and redirect it into the much stronger T-handle itself. You get a straighter pull - with either hand - that keeps the energy closer to the centerline of the rifle, so you don’t twist the handle and risk breaking it. Beveled edges on the handle provide an easy to grasp, snag free profile, while a raised top shield prevents gas from blowing back into the shooter’s face when running the gun with a silencer.

The name says it all!

I bought this ambi handle just because I wanted to have it. I had recently bought a Stag Arms Carbine because it was already New Jersey compliant - Yes I am stuck in one of the most liberal states in the union - New Jersey). I liked the rifle, but after I installed this handle, I loved it even more. Then I realized that my BCM Recce didn't have this type of handle, so I switched it to the Recce and put the original BCM handle on the Stag Arms Carbine. Love my Recce even more, plus, it improves the Stag Arms rifle as well. The fact that BCM products are so well built and can be switched out to another MIL SPEC rifles says even more. I was on BCM's waiting list to get this handle, but Brownells notified me first that this was back in stock...Gotta Love Brownells because they have everything, and what they don't have in stock is usually get stock back in faster than everywhere else on the internet...PLUS, let's not forget that they ship things out VERY FAST, too!

BCM 4x4

Have used many different brands of ambi and have found this one to be "The One". Radian raptor is a very close second for feel, the quality of both is equal.

A great ambidextrous handle

I've outfitted all my ARs with ambidextrous charging handles so as to allow whomever I loan a gun to, they can use their dominate hand. Also allows immediate action drill without taking eye off red dot.

BCM Ambi Charging Handle

I have one one of these on all of my ARs. They're rock-solid and run flawlessly in all six of my AR upper receivers (the receivers are all from Anchor harvey Aluminum as indicated by the "splintered" A forging mark). I highly recommend these...

BCM does it again

I have many of the previous generation BCM ambi charging handles and figured they couldn't get any better, I was wrong. The purchase I get on this charging handle is much better than the old model. If you are on the fence about buying one of these, don't be. It's $$ well spent. You will not regret it. The only con I have for these is that I want to replace all my older models with these.
