Manufactured in-house, these barrels are fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and 11 degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy.

Quality is imbued into Faxon's barrels from the start. Faxon start with the best materials, either certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless. From there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.

Very Satisfied

This is my first Faxon purchase. I was impressed with the finish and appearance of the barrel when received. The pistol build went perfectly with no fitment issues. Performance has been above expectations. From the first magazine fired, accuracy has been far better than I expected with cheap range ammo, and overall function has been flawless. My second Faxon purchase will be made shortly - a 16" carbine barrel, also in 9mm.

Great barrel

Amazing barrel. Sub moa @75+ yards with steel case wolf ammo. Have 2,000+ rounds(mainly steel cases) in 4 month and runs flawlessly. Rifling still looks smoothly, and excellent. Expect to have a very long life. One con this barrel is a true 8.5 in barrel vice 8.5 + threads.

No crown - Disappointed

Surprised and disappointed that a crown was not machined into the barrel muzzle I received. Muzzle appears to be just cut off flush and square. Faxon makes very good barrels so I expected better. Ill grind a simple crown myself so I didnt return it. But we all know a cut off muzzle doesnt help accuracy. Note muzzle has a 1/2 x 28 tip. Unusual for 9mm but common for 5.56/223. If you buy a brake make a 9mm round will drop thru the brake. If not, your going to have bad day...
