AR-15 ARMORER'S WRENCH Reviews & Ratings

Multiple Tools In One - You'll Always Want It Close By!

You'll find yourself reaching for the Brownells Armorer's Wrench a lot when you're working on AR-15s. The standard 6-pin barrel nut wrench works on both peg-style and encapsulated barrel nuts. The "can’t slip" 4-pin castle nut wrench enables secure installation and removal of M4-carbine type receiver extensions. (NOTE: the stock must be removed so the castle nut wrench can be slid over the buffer tube to access the nut.)

There's a cutout for an A2 receiver extension nut, another cutout for a 1/2" torque drive, and slots for 5/8" and 3/4" wrench flats on flash hiders and muzzle brakes. Of course, our armorer's wrench has the last-a-lifetime quality you expect from Brownells tools: heavy-duty steel construction, precise dimensions, and a comfortable anti-slip matte finish.

Just what I needed

This is a solid solution to a common task. although this is not the only one out there, I must say it is the one. Other solutions seem cheap and flimsy by comparison.

What I needed.

I called and asked for advice. The online catalogue was overwhelming . The one suggested was not the most expensive but was a Brownells brand. I made the order online, and chose the standard shipping. It arrived 2 days after I placed the order , was of apparently very high quality , and worked perfectly . I will be back next time I need any tool part , or accessory for a gun.

Helped me Finish my AR Project

It helped me install the muzzle brake on my AR-15 while I was preparing a review of the AR-15 Master Wrench, making the entire process smoother and giving me a chance to evaluate how well the tool performs in a real-world application.

Great wrench

I like that I do not have to search for other tools while working on AR rifle projects. I like that the castle nut wrench is included with it.

Heavy-Duty, Great Tool

If you do any AR15 repair or building, you need this tool. It makes assembly of the buffer tube, fore end, muzzle device, and barrel a breeze. Also able to be used with your torque wrench for making sure everything is to spec.

Excellent wrench!

This wrench has no equal for the price. It does everything more expensive wrenches do, and better! I can name at least two higher priced wrenches that have nothing on Brownells Armorer's wrench. Buy this one and you won't regret it!

A tool that’s truly worth the investment.

Great Armorer’s Wrench. I’ve needed one for a while. Glad I finally purchased one. I only wonder why I waited so long. If you have an AR or MSR, this is a must-have tool!
