ACS-L® COLLAPSIBLE MIL-SPEC CARBINE STOCK FOR AR-15 Reviews & Ratings

The Magpul ACS-L (Adaptable Carbine Stock - Light) Mil-Spec is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15/M4 carbines using Mil-Spec sized receiver extension tubes. A streamlined version of the ACS, the ACS-L utilizes the same center storage compartment and cheek weld but removes the battery tubes for a slimmer, lighter weight package.

Specifications based on standard-length (flat-back) M4 Carbine Receiver Extension and may vary depending on tube manufacturer.

My third one!

This is the third one that I have purchased. This stock locks down with zero wobble and has an awesome cheek weld. I have a 9mm PCC with this stock and love it. I just built a 45ACP PCC and went with the Magpul ACS-L again! I like the fact that it has a small storage compartment. I keep a hex wrench and 2032 battery for my reflex sight in it, along with a small lens cleaning cloth for the sight. The cleaning cloth keeps every thing from rattling around. A perfect setup!!

High quality

Great all around stock. For me, it could be a little bigger. Fits perfect to buffer tube.

Solid and comfortable

Excellent stock replacement for my M4. Slightly heavier than the standard issue stock but much sturdier, more comfortable under my cheek, and the storage compartment is handy for little things (I put cleaning pads in there).

Outstanding

Bought this to replace the standard stock. It fits tight and there is no wobble. Cheek weld is fantastic. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a top of the line stock for their AR.

Fit and finish is great. The only down side is the quick detach point. Otherwise this is an outstanding stock for an AR.

Light, Solid Fit & Comfortable

Lockup on the receiver extension tube is rock solid. No play at all. The top is wide enough for a comfortable cheekweld. BTW it fits fine on a Vltor "A5" style receiver extension tube.
