Good parts kit
What else is there to say, it's a parts kit :-). Installed in the stripped upper I bought along with it. Everything went together without issue.
It Works
The kit does the job it is supposed too. I will be using Luth-AR parts more often.
Also missing forward assist pin
Ordered a bunch of stuff for my AR build-everything arrived quickly but I noticed the bottom corner of the Luth-AR upper parts kit bag had a hole in it, and immediately started looking for the missing pin in the shipment box-but its nowhere to be found. Who knows when it fell out of the bag, if it was in there to begin with. Otherwise everything looks to be of good quality. I called and Brownells is shipping me a replacement pin no questions asked. Due to Brownells being so cool about it, Im not at all upset. Id recommend being prepared for this possibility if youre ordering this kit, looks like one other customer had the same issue.
Incomplete Upper Receiver Parts kits
I buy tons of stuff from Brownell's and it's generally good. In my last order they sent two upper receiver parts kits from Luth AR. Neither of the parts kits came with the roll pin (forward assist retaining pin). I went back and looked at the picture and sure enough it was included in the picture, but neither of my kits had them included. I called and explained and Brownells agreed to send me two DPMS forward assist retaining pins. In the same order, I ordered two receiver extension assemblies, I was charged for two and only one was sent. Brownells has made good on that too. Attention to Detail.
