It's aluminum

The picture shows a polymer version but the ones I received were a nice anodized aluminum. Buy this one with confidence.

Nice aluminum spacer

Well-machined aluminum spacer for the A2 length buttstocks. The pictures currently depict the polymer spacers. Being aluminum, it does weigh more than the polymer, which can be a plus if you are trying to add weight to the buttstock.
