AR-15 A2 handguard
These handguards previously received a low rating and I'm not sure why. I took a chance and bought them and I found them to be better than I thought they would be. The finish is not perfect but neither are military surplus. The heat shields are full coverage and are well secured. They fit and function just fine... tight on the front endcap (these are for the triangular endcap only) and I had to tap the delta ring to seat the rear. These are what I expected and I am totally satisfied.

Mid legth handguards
These are nice mid length handguards they are tapered. However one issue i had when i bought them and tried to install using a round retainjng handguard cap it does not fit. Triangle cap is necessary. I am unsure if its the same with the rifle length handguards. I reached out to luth-ar for assistance and was directed to use the triangle cap. These seem sturdy and I would suggest them.

Very pleased
Product arrived today and am very pleased. They seemed of the same quality of the ones i removed from stock rifle. No warping or odd cuts. The handguards i recieved were of excellent quantity.
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

loose
very loose. I used golf epoxy to make them engage the nut teeth better.
2
Warped
These handguards are the right size and shape…but they are warped and don’t fit together nicely when installed. Cheap. Probably not even worth returning so whatever. Just be aware they will show up bent and not fitting well.

Loose
Price was nice but these fit very loose. Its for a secondary/budget rifle so not returning them.

Junk
Disappointed at the quality of this product. Have a PSA AR I am keeping retro-inspired, so using the classic handguard. Wanted a back up for the parts bin and ordered this. The PSA is miles ahead in quality despite it just being a plastic handguard. This LUTH AR handguard didn't fit together properly, had rough edges throughout, and even had large chips. Not worth a penny. Nothing against Brownells - this is obviously like this from the factory (Luth AR).

Terrible quality
Warped and had giant gaps when installed. Returned promptly.

Luth-AR A2 12" handguards
Pros: Cheap Cons: Terrible manufacturing & build quality. Zero QC. See photos for explanation. I'm glad these are cheap, and will be chopped up for a project. Spend the extra $$$, and order from DSArms.

Does not fit AR
Not even close. Does NOT fit on my M-16 AR at all. Maybe this is made for air soft guns> Now I have to figure out how to return it!!
