Good Flash Hider
Worked well on customer's Enfield. Had to thread barrel and cut to 18".
Good Basic Flash Suppressor-Super Value!
Fits the Savage Model 10 FCP-SR. Needs a crush washer, but indexes easily, matches the gun's finish. Same design and external diameter as M-16A2/M-4 flash suppressor, standard slip-on muzzle caps fit just fine.
Poor Quality .30 Cal A2 Flash Hider
The plus side of this muzzle device is that the threads were cut clean as it spun on easily to a 6.5 Grendel barrel. The negatives are the finish was blotchy and uneven and should have been labeled a Blem. In addition, the wrench flats still had unsightly tool marks on them. It works but given the finish quality it is a poor representation of Brownell quality.
Poor Quality Manufacturing
Machining is of poor quality, sharp edges.
Mine cracked
When I began tightening this flash hider against the crush washer I heard a pop. The flash hider had cracked. The crack extended longitudinally through the threaded area.
Cracked
When tightening up this flashhider the 270 degrees to it's place, it cracked from the rear.
