This appears to be the only black oxide (nitride?) A1 FS available and it looks correct on LW or Pencil nitrided barrels. Very pleased.

If you want a muzzle device that won’t blow out ear drums on the range or mess with the stability of long bullets due to asymmetric action of escaping gas, this is it. (Plus it looks correct and is inexpensive!)

Used for 9mm build

Fitment is good, threads on nice and tight. Used this on a 9mm build. Planned on drilling it out, but found that it just barley has enough clearance ~0.010" over (I did not measure it) and is concentric to the bore, (in my case) so I left it as is. Finnish is ok, but would have preferred a parkerized finish. Overall, I would buy again.

Works perfect on my CZ 512 Tactical

I like the fact this A1 flash hider doesnt need to be timed like the A2 flash hider since this A1 style has continuous openings all the way around the flash hider. It was a perfect fit on my CZ 512 22wmr. Id definitely recommend it!

Great flash hider

Threads on nicely. Easy to tighten. Looks great. Using for A1 build.

Excellent design for 22LR

Just to reinforce some of the other reviews, this is an excellent flash hider for threaded barrel 22s. The 360-degree configuration of slots precludes the need for timing the device. The finish on this one is pretty close to Ruger 10/22 and aftermarket blueing. Unlike more gray parkerized versions, this one looks like it is made for the rifles. You may ask why you even need a flash hider on a 22 - they are highly effective at preventing damage to your crown and preventing foreign matter from entering the barrel when shooting prone while also acting as a thread protector when you are not using a suppressor. Plus it looks good as well.

A1 Retro flash hider

True to form of the original A1 bird cage type flash hider. I like this type flash hider as it requires no indexing, and is the correct type for some of the M16/AR15 retro builds. Fit and finish are very good.

This A1 Flash Hider works perfect for my Ruger 10/22, as it works great as a flash hider, its compact and looks sharp. No crush washer is necessary as it has evenly spaced 360 degree open slots.
