AR-15 9MM UPPER RECEIVERS M-LOK ASSEMBLED

AR-15 9MM UPPER RECEIVERS M-LOK ASSEMBLED Reviews & Ratings

The Foxtrot Mike Products 9mm Upper Receiver comes fully assembled and ready to drop on any pistol caliber lower receiver that uses Glock®magazines. With its full-length Picatinny top rail and M-LOK compatible handguard, the Foxtrot Mike 9mm Upper offers plenty of mounting space for optics and other accessories.

While the 5” upper receiver utilizes a standard AR style rear mount charging handle the 9.5”, 10.5”, and 16” upper receivers use an ambidextrous, non-reciprocating forward charging handle.

A unique interlocking connector between the upper receiver and handguard ensures the barrel nut will not work loose over time.

  • Premium Melonite-finished 4150 carbone steel
  • Button-rifled bore, 1-10" twist
  • ½"-36 threaded muzzle
  • Bolt/carrier unit with hard Melonite finish, too

Does NOT work on the BRN-180 lowers

Engineered to function reliably, no matter which manufacturers’ lower it’s mated with, the Foxtrot Mike 9mm Upper Receiver is forgiving enough to cycle even the most economical (we’re not saying "cheap"!) steel or brass cased ammo.

Foxtrot Mike Products MIKE-9 Upper Receivers are not compatible with aluminum cased ammunition, Korean magazines or Spikes Tactical 9mm Glock® lower receivers. Stern Defense 9mm Conversion Adapter is also not recommended for use with Foxtrot Mike Products uppers as it requires adjustment to work properly.

Works great and good price
Attached this to an 80% 9mm lower from Juggernaut Tactical. As another reviewer mentioned to get the LRBHO catch linkage to work I also to (and I copy direct from the other review) "dremel out a small channel on the inside of the upper receiver (and I'm pretty sure this voids the warranty so be warned) where it interferes." Just take your time, small cuts then test (repeat) until the LRBHO mechanism works. But once completed this works great. Once fitted I went to the range and put 150 rounds through it without a single jam or other issue. Really like the side charging handle. I would definitely buy this again.

First PCC Build
First PCC build, wanted to try the side charger. This one did not have the folding handle; I think that would have been better since the charging handle is a bit small. The action was pretty rough at first; lubed it up and it was a bit better. I put it on a KE Arms KP-15 lower; nice fit after some initial wedging in at the pivot point (not the upper's fault). Very light and maneuverable. Changed the buffer to H4 weight and buffer spring to 308 Carbine per FM instructions. Used an Endomag. No feed problems, LRBHO worked every time. The side charger needs a little getting used to but I like it. On a side note: FM instructions come with a LOT of restrictions: regarding ammo, not letting the bolt slam close on empty chamber, numerous compatibility issues that void their warranty, the buffer and spring requirements, etc. As a newbie I am following them all, but it did require getting a bunch of stuff along with the upper. I don't know how many of these are common to the 9 m blowbacks, or specific to FM. After all of that, however, I think it is worth it: it is really fun to shoot.

FMP 350 round review
Mated FMP 10.5 upper with a FMP premium lower. I found the side charging very efficient and effective while running drills at the range. Now, I question why others continue to cling to traditional charging, and also why LRBHO is not widely adopted. I do have one criticism, the charging handle is not the folding shown is many product photo examples, but a shorter static handle the can lead to raking your finger against the side of pic rail if not cautious and deliberate. A longer included charging handle, or the folding handle often shown, would be beneficial to reduce skin loss while charging weapon. I will also note, FMP recommends to avoid Korean mags, and I did experience frequent FTF while using SGM mags, but absolutely no failures using Glock or Magpul mags. I cannot fault a vendor/manufacturer for issues when these warnings are acknowledged and published. Of my AR-9mm PCC firearms, I most enjoy this pistol as it shoots extremely accurately and softly. I only shoot brass case 115 and 124 grain ammo, and experienced no failure nor issues when I adhere to FMP guidlines. Easily ring 6 steel at 75 yards using 2 MoA red dot while shouldered. I simply cannot shoot from greater distance at my home range, but I am confident there is more in this FMP PCC than my range allows. Brownells delivered quickly, and the sale price was the best value during Black Friday sales. Brownells and FMP are top shelf!

Wrong Charging Handle
Sloppy fit between the Foxtrot $299.00 I also purchased from Brownells Took it to range flawless function with Double Tap trigger system (rapid fire). Couldn't put open sights on the very front because the unmodified Magpul sights rubbed the forward charging handle, Need to modify the front sight If you use them. I used a HS 403 B red dot. Very accurate @ 50 yds. & 100 yds. after I fixed the wiggle between the FM lower and the FM upper.

Quality Receiver for a budget price.
Great upper for a great price. Would recommend. Fit/Finish much better than I expected.

Worked great! Would buy another one.
Worked great from the very first shot! Installed this on a lower build for use as a pistol. Function was perfect. I used Glock factory magazines, so not sure about aftermarket magazines. Upper was assembled well with rail being square and level to the upper receiver. One minor issue, though. The charging handle is in the same spot as a backup front sight. On my first attempt, by ARMS front sight rubbed on the charging handle. I sanded the base of sight to clear the charging handle. With an optic, this is a "5 star" upper. With a front sight, you may have to tweak it a bit. Overall a "4.5 star". Good value. I'd definitely buy it again.
