Mated this upper with Mike-9 complete billet lower. Let's just say that I am extremely impressed with this pistol. A lot of reviews and FM themselves recommend lubing the hell out of it. I anticipated some teething and break-in issues, so I only brought around 300 rounds of brass and steel FMJ, with CLP and lube, but, well, it went through all of that with only 2 minor feed issues. Magazines used: OEM Glock 17 rd x1 Magpul 15 rd x3 Magpul D-50 50rd drum x1 Ammo used: Fiocchi FMJ "Training Dynamics" brass FMJ Some garbage Tula steel case Not a single issue with Fiocchi on any mags, and had 2 failures to feed using steel case and Magpul mag. It also happened on the same mag, probably at the same round count, so it might be more of a mag issue. More impressively, while FM definitely discourages breaking in using high-capacity mags, ESPECIALLY D-50s, it fed all 50 rounds flawlessly, twice. Again, understand round count is still low, but still impressive. Can't wait to shoot more!

Great fit and finish. Snug fit on my FM lower. It ran like a champ with a variety of ammo brands. Very happy with this purchase!

I paired it with a psa lower reciever and am using the cmmg mean 9mm conversion magazines and I've yet to have a malfunction! I even get the last shot hold open.. all in all, this is a cool little "bag gun". I normally don't write reviews, but I thought this one deserved one. So if your on the fence about it, I'd go for it.. plus 9mm is usually around 40-50 cents cheaper than 5.56 also!

I'm a long time hunter, but this is my first PCC of this style, purchased to compete in USPSA. There are lots of good technical reviews already, so I'll comment on service, quality, and ease of use. First of all, it took a long time to get the upper thanks to the COVID demand surge. I contacted Foxtrot Mike a couple of times asking for updates and they responded immediately with real processing status. Kudos to them. My California FFL also lost the safety detent and spring when he removed the "illegal" grip, and FM sent me replacements with no fuss. Related to quality, I used an upper from another manufacturer for my USPSA safety check, and the SCM mags I had available all jammed on the second or third shot. However, once the FM upper arrived, the matched set fed 150 rounds from the SCM's with zero issues. Although FM recommends Magpul or OEM mags, the above experience speaks to the quality of design and manufacturing that's apparent throughout the firearm. I work in the machining industry and the fit and finish is exceptional. As a new PCC competitor I've had some coaching from friends that shortened my learning curve. That said, the FM9 is about as user-friendly as it gets. Handed it to my wife and she was dry fire shooting with about 20 seconds of explanation. I'm liking the forward charging handle so far, since my left hand is right there anyway. Seems faster. The only change I've made is switching to an ambidextrous safety, angled for a faster click with my right forefinger. Overall impressed and would highly recommend!

Tight connection with my Juggernaut Lower. Very accurate and well built. Put a Romeo red dot optic on top; Rings the gong at a 100 with each trigger pull. I've been firing ARs in military and civilian for over 30 years, side charger is the way to go. Very pleased!

I mated the F-M upper to a 80% AR9 lower I recently completed using parts from an AR15 pistol kit. Lower is finished in Cerakote Tactical Gray and accepts Glock mags. First test of only 6 rounds was a success. Further test firing will indicate if buffer and spring need to be changed, but so far, this guns cycles fine. Although the finish is good, I may strip parts for Cerakote, especially the charging handle which is glossy while the upper and handguard are a matte finish with a very subtle color difference. No surprise, the ejection port door matches nothing and will require refinishing. As I do my own finishing, mechanics and fit are more important to me than finish and this upper gets 5 stars for those. Overall, an excellent value and quality and I have another on order as my bride needs one of her own.

If your looking for a good 9mm Upper this one Fits the build. Recommend using it with the matching lower they offer.

Well, This upper was way better and way less expensive that I could have built one piece at a time. I have aready put 200+ rounds through it and it works flawlessly after I set it up. Things to know buying this up front though. UNLESS you buy the Foxtrot Mike lower that goes with this finding an AR9 80% lower with LRBHO that is out of the box compatible can be a chore. Luckily I did find one that was close enough from AAO MFG if 80% lowers is your thing. ALSO the LRBHO catch linkage that comes on this particular lower will lock open after every shot like the mag is empty unless you file or dremel out a small channel on the inside of the upper reciever (and I'm pretty sure this voids the warranty so be warned) where it interferes. and all is good afterwards. I don't regret this purchase and would do it again!

I bought two uppers to fit the same lower and they fit perfectly. Snug fit with no give. After a thorough cleaning I did my test fire and didnt have a single malfunction. I was shooting my own reloads. I installed a Caldwell catcher and found its worth every penny since I reload all the brass. No digging thru the grass for brass. Havent installed a sight yet. Considering using it for home defense and dont really need one, but may use a laser. The pic rail accepted the catcher without any issues. My initial concern was the nylon handle for the charging handle but its solid and no give. I bought Glock mags and theyre worth it, fit snug and easy release. The last round lock back worked flawlessly and the release was easy and solid. The lower is a foxtrot mike and I intend to buy another one. I havent installed a stock to minimize profile for home defense but will add one for the 16 build.
