Excellent Trigger for the Price
Bought this as a budget trigger to get me started on my AR build until I could afford a very expensive trigger. I'm very pleased so far. Trigger pull is pretty light and not at all gritty. I can make precise shots with this at range no issue and am able to rapid fire easily. The finish is durable and has not chipped after 500 rounds. The more you use it, the more polished the surfaces get and the better it performs. Some good lubrication also goes a long way in increasing smoothness. Highly recommended.
Great upgrade for the $
I upgraded 2 different rifles with this trigger. I did one, liked it so much I did my other gun too. It's not a competition grade trigger by any means but it is notably better than a stock AR trigger. It doesn't reduce the pull much using stock springs but it feels cleaner without the gritty feeling. Like I said, it's no competition trigger but it is a good upgrade for the money. It also looks good.
Great Value, Great Performance
I now have 3 of these WMD NIBX Trigger sets. After installing the first along with JP 3.5lb springs, my AR was running as smoothly as my Timney Triggered AR. I am very impressed with the performance / value. Not saying its as good as a Timney, and certainly not as easy to install, but for range shooting with economy in mind, This WMD set is a winner.
Good Trigger for the money
I bought one of these triggers and installed one before I read these reviews. I also installed a JP trigger and hammer spring along with it, with a little polishing I get a consistent pull, of under 5lbs. I purchased 2 more. This is a great alternative to a high priced trigger and it gets you in your gun and teaches you the inner workings of an AR 15. Well worth the $50 bucks.
5lbs pull not bad love the coating
I've installed 15 of these with no issues. The key is that you need quality trigger springs. I use the JP 4.0 springs. I get under 6 lbs consistent pulls out of this unit. Easy to clean and wipe down once used. I don't know what other peoples issues are with this, but it works great with the right springs
OK, but not Great
I have used several ALG-ACT's, but did not want to wait for BO, so tried this one. It is better than the Bushmaster Mil-Spec it replaced, but has a noticeable amount of gritty creep, much more than the ALG-ACT and not as crisp. I'll wait for an ALG-ACT next time. I rate the ALG-ACT as equivalent to the JP Single Stage with Speed Hammer. Neither ALG nor JP are two stage equivalent, but fine in right application.
avoid
very gritty and very hard pull. Mine needs to be returned.
