Well made and perfect fit.
I added one of these to my 6.5 Grendel to tame ejection problems. I added stronger springs and heavier buffers but not satisfied. This adjustable gas block did the trick. I bought this newer version from same company and it is even better. Adjusts extraction to your loads. Perfect fit and easily adjustiable. Love it!!

Great design and ease of use
I use these on most of the AR builds I do, especially in odd or non-standard chamberings. Like an AR10/SR25 in 243, 6.5cm, 7-08, 358win, 375 Raptor or AR15 in 204Ruger, 25sharps. They work great to tune in a system utilizing an ultralit bcg or LMOS bcg to only get the needed amount of gas to properly run the system and limit recoil. You can tune it for custom lightloads or open it up a few more clicks to be just under the common level of overgassed combat type gas blocks. Just follow the included directions to tune.

Perfect
Not sure what everyone's complaining about. All you have to do is take some measurements before you buy. When they meant low profile, the item itself is low profile. It may not work for low profile handguards but it matches my carbon fiber delta handguard made by PRI. It's a beautiful adjustable gas block and I use a full length gas tube with a 12" handguard just to display it. Why hide it? If you want an adjustable gas block that hides underneath a handguard, don't buy this and complain.
Not for all
Im a big fan of JP products. Very well made stuff, but this one could improve. Under an SLR MLOK hand guard, the adjustment screw is about half visible. Im gonna have to notch it for access. If they changed the design to have the adjustment screw on the end of the block instead of the side, that would allow access for all hand guards.(adjust from the muzzle end) I bought another one piece(non JP) before I had to pin weld that had this feature. Live n learn.
fantastic build/unfortunate size
Is a great product and, with the proper rail, would work great for me. Unfortunately, with the rail that I chose for this build (BCM KMR) the gas block is oversized and there are clearance issues with the rows of screws along the bottom side of the gas block. On its own the gas block is exceptionally well made and, I'm sure, it would work well under the JP rails that are available.
GREAT CONSTRUCTION - NOT LOW PROFILE
As with most JP products the construction is excellent and the instructions (packed with the part) are easy to follow and complete. The only issue is that this is not a true "low profile" gas block. Yes, it will fit under a slim-line/low profile hand guard such as an Armalite; but it hits the rail. Also the gas adjustment screw cannot be turned out more than four clicks due to it hitting the hand guard. With the correct hand guard this would be an excellent gas block.
Well made and functions perfectly but (there is always a but)
I wish I'd read other reviews about this gas block fitment issues before buying it. Mine hits inside the handguard like other reviewers have stated. I suppose I could grind it down or remove material from the inside of the handguard but I'm just not that sort of guy. I like things to fit right as intended. I'm going to see if I can swap it with one of my other ARs that might have just enough room to make it work. But I really wanted to use it on the AR that I bought it for. I know. Do you want some cheese with that whine?
Does not fit Aero Atlas handguards
Great gas block for pin & weld barrels. However, in this day & age of slimline handguards... you're going to need a 2" OD 1.5" ID clunker to make this work... and even then, you're going to need a side access slot that perfectly aligns with the adjustment screw, or you'll be removing the handguard to adjust. Its a great idea, poorly executed for modern slim handguards... if you want to use it, wait for JP to release their own Mlok handguard, but don't use the popular Aero Atlas.
Clamp and valve screws will hit.
If you plan on the block not being hidden under a guard then you're fine. But good luck getting a guard that won't hit the clamp screws or the adjustment screw after you've made your adjustments. Apparently Brownell suggests you have a guard with an ID of 1.35. Mine is 1.34 and definitely needs to be another quarter inch larger to clear the adjustment screw. Shame Brownell won't acknowledge even the recommended diameter still isn't enough.
Will it fit?
Although it will fit under a free float handguard, you cant adjust it with a MI handguard.
