Armalite barrel nut

Right tool is a must

As usual I just couldn't leave well enough alone. I just had to have this ym free float. I was not aware that it took an armalite ar10 style nut instead of the dpms style I was used to. This Lil tool got me back up and running. Fit was tight but it did the trick

Well built for the price

I installed an Armalite free float tube on my AR-10A with this wrench and it worked as advertised. Very well built for the price. Some reviews are a little miss leading, this will work with a stock barrel nut on the AR-10. Pictured is the wrench fit up to a standard barrel nut I took off the rifle. So no need to buy 2 wrenches to replace an Armalite barrel nut.

Perfect fit for my AR10. If you purchase this, you need not purchase the free float nut wrench from Armalite. I recommend this PRI part.

Great tool

Fit my 20 hole free float barrel nut snug. I like the heavy duty construction and the five extra long pins. Right tool for the right job. Nothing like some of the cheap combination tools.

At last!

I at last have a barrel nut wernch that works!! I used it on a free float tub nut and it was the best wernch that I have used fit was perfect easy to use great product!!

WORKS GREAT!

This thing works great. It goes on a little snug. Just a light tapping with a mallet worked well for me. I liked the fact that it went on snug as then the tool would stay put while my hands were off of it. I used a torque wrench to tighten the barrel nut and I had no fear of slipping or breaking. This thing is a WRENCH! It is made of real steel. The reverse side fit my floating hand guard nut as well.

Works only on old style AR-10 barrel nut

The newer (A2 and on) AR-10 has a smaller barrel nut that has the outside dimensions of an AR-15 nut. Construction looked good, probably the right tool for the job on the correct rifle. Note: The PRI AR-15 wrench will not work on the AR-10A2 because the barrel diameter is larger than the AR-15 and the hole in the center of the tool is not large enough to fit. PRI tells me they plan to make a new version of this wrench with pins for both style nuts on either side.
