ALG AK recoil spring is a one of a kind design, it is manufactured from chrome silicon steel resist impact shock and relaxation. The 2 to 3 dead coils in the center change the natural frequency of the spring, which prevents harmonics from damaging the spring and reducing its free length.

AK-P now runs reliably suppressed

My PSA AK-P malfunction every few rounds when running suppressed with the Dead Air Wolverine. I looked into options for tuning so that the pistol would run reliably. I decided the first try would be the ALG spring because it costs a lot less than an adjustable gas piston. Sure enough, the AK-P now runs 100% using this spring and the Wolverine.

Smooth, Recoil Reduction

Great spring. A little extra power, reduces recoil and sharp cheek bite from stock on older AK platforms that sometimes have used and shortened recoil springs. Makes action fell smoother. Be aware, spring is stiff, sometimes a little longer than stock spring at first. Harder to install in recoil spring guide.
