Alg Ak High Energy Spring
Brownellls Shipped Fast . Happy with Brownells. I haven't installed this spring yet. Only bought to have in hand in case of light primer strikes after a Alg Ak-EL trigger install to OEM Zastava M70 ZPap springs .
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Perfect solution
I had installed an ALG AKT EL trigger in my AK. Loved the trigger but the trigger pull was too light even with the "helper" spring supplied with the trigger (1.9 to 2.2 pounds). I installed the ALG hi torque spring and the trigger pull settled in at a consistent 3.2 pounds. Much better for an AK application.

High energy mainspring by alg defense
I tried the alg mainspring because i have their enhanced trigger which is absolutley great. But my take on the mainspring is i dont really care for it because it increases the trigger pull which i really didnt like but the main thing is that to me it seems like it slows the action down because the increased main spring tension and it sure does drive the firing pin deep just makes me a little nervous. I put the original mainspring back in and i,m a happy camper again. Also and maybe this part should be in a different review but i tried the alg recoil spring along with there enhanced trigger and with the stock hammer spring and oh boy its a jackpot! Extremley happy with it that setup.

Good spring
One of my AK's has a spring loaded firing pin, which would commonly cause hang-fires and light primer strikes. This extra power spring solved the problem, by giving the hammer a little more striking power. You might have to bend the legs of the spring slightly so they do not rest on the trigger pin. If your AK has a free-floating firing pin and you're not having any problems, you probably don't have a need for this.
