Well Made & Returns to Zero
Bought a Midwest Ind. mount identical to this mount, the only difference being a longer Pic Rail spanning the entire dust cover. The mount & lock mechanism are otherwise identical.
Rifle is a PSAK-47 GF3, with a stoutly built receiver that has heavy duty rivet heads that protrude out in the form of a hemisphere. When first attaching the mount, I didn't notice the rear most rivet head contacted the mount plate. Locking the mechanism caused the mount to rock slightly on the rivet head. No "Return to Zero" was possible in that condition. Knowing the quality of Midwest products, closer examination revealed the issue, so I took a round file to remove about .030" from the mount's lockplate, eliminating the problem interference.

Great product
You cant go wrong with a Midwest industries mount. They are the best and the quality and precision fit shows it.
MI Aimpoint Micro AK-47 Side Mount
Mounted on Arsenal SLR-107R. Had to use blue Loctite to secure upper and lower portions of the mount for solid functionality; however, another shooter was able to hit a steel target out to 500 yards with a first round impact and eventually out to 600 yards on steel with the mount loose prior to thread locker application. Once tuned to to the correct fit with the locking screw, mount is completely solid and provides a lower 1/3 co-witness to iron sights.
Rock Solid
Mounts easily on VEPR AK47-21. Slides past the side folder buttstock hinge; others don't. Easy on, easy off. Returns to zero.
