Hardened steel tool enables fast, easy, precise windage and elevation adjustment on a wide variety of Kalshnikov-type rifles. The full-circle clamp is far stronger than generic C-clamps for secure, positive contact with the sight tower to adjust the sight for windage. Viewing port in the circle clamp gives you a clear view of the drum for perfect alignment. Remove the T-handle from the circle clamp and use it as a wrench to adjust the sight post for elevation. Sliding handle lets you select the length that gives you the right amount of leverage in either mode to get even a “frozen” sight to move. No extra tools required. Standard model fits AK-47 and clones. Gunsmith model has a larger circle clamp to fit all sizes of front sights, and a longer handle for extra torque to move the stubbornest sight.

Very durable sight adjuster. MY previous one broke.

Works on even the stiffest ironsites. Keep in mind it does not adjust the windage with integrated sight blocks such as the KP9, or most other modern russian ak designs/ ak pistols.

Best out there

Hands down the best sight tool for AKM rifles. It's steel, and will break loose stuck front posts easily.

Excellent Tool

This tool is amazing - The front sight post on my Russian AK-103 Rifle would not budge. I tried using penetrating oils and high grade gun oils to loosen the sight up but it would not move at all using the standard front sight adjustment tool that came with the cleaning kit, nor any of the smooth jaw pliers I have. I was considering just replacing the whole front sight block when I came across this tool. The first time I used the tool the front sight post moved up and down with ease. The tool is a godsend, I cannot recommend it enough.

AK front sight tool that works

Prior to buying this I had broken two of the cast Tapco style front sight tools. I thought my front sight was possibly frozen in as the second tool broke after soaking the sight in kroil for a day. Bought the magna magic, one little turn with little torque and the sight easily moved. Buy once cry once is truly what this is. If you have an AK or SKS this is the tool that actually works.

This is an excellent tool and beautifully machined. The elevation tool is bell-shaped (not tapered as pictured by Brownells). While the design keeps the tool from slipping off the front sight post, it interferes with the sight 'shroud' on my SAR-1 when adjusting elevation AFTER windage. [Yes, the windage is that bad on my rifle!] I still give it five stars because of the tool quality and adjusting elevation BEFORE windage would be smarter.
