ADJUSTABLE SIGHTS FOR COLT A1 70S CLONES Reviews & Ratings
hard to get colt sights
Great fits, my customers loved them! Wish you could keep them in stock, they'd sold out too quickly.
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
LPA 1911-A1 adjustable sight set
installed on a para ordinance 1911-A1. looks and works perfectly. very little fitting on rear sight. just sanded a little off the bottom, right in. front sight as always needs a little fitting on the small tenon. locktite it in first and taped over night to dry then next day staked the tenon with the Brownells staking tool. could not be better. buy this set and you will love it. my only wish was that my gun uses the small tenon. wish it was the large one.
Good product, but.....
These are good sights, but they have some issues that you need to understand. The tenon on the front sight is a "wide" tenon. That is not a problem, but I wouldn't want to file it to "narrow" dimensions. The thing that got me was that I could not stake the sight with a Trijicon staking set. The shape of the front sight would not work with that staking tool, and it is far and away the best staking tool I have every used. Probably just my hangup, but I ended up using a dovetail front sight to match up with the rear from LPA.
