Great product
I had no issues with installing this item . Im glock certified , and i knew exactly what to do . This item deserves 5 stars across the board. It takes a little time for install , no fitting was required , it works perfectly.

I installed the trigger in my Glock 19 gen 4. I already had a aftermarket trigger disconnect. So, after the install I took out my 17 with OEM trigger, but aftermarket disconnect. On my 17 my finger wanted to wrap around the trigger, But my Apex trigger, my finger naturally wanted to stay on the pad of my finger. So I did a trigger pull on the 19 to see what the weight was. After 4 pulls, the weight came in under 4lbs (3.75 average) But I did give the trigger bar a good polishing. I like the Apex trigger. Gonna get the Red Apex for the 17.
Get the Dremel Ready
The short version of a long story. I installed this in about a dozen different gen 3 pistols with existing polished trigger bars and 3.5 lb ghost connectors. Every pistol produced the same unimpressive result and I actually think it made the trigger pulls worse. I attacked the trigger bar with the Dremel and a little polish. Now it's as good as it was before. Not sure I noticed any significant difference in the pre or over travel. However, the trigger pad does feel better than the stock ridged trigger of the Glock 19 or Glock 26.
Apex Triiger & Bar fo Gen3 Glock 17 & 19
This Apex unit reduces take-up travel and maintains the stock post-travel. It worked as the original parts did in my 17. Dropping into the 19 frame, the pistol failed to reset after pressing the trigger. Replacing with stock parts and it functioned normally. I will leave this Apex in a reserve 17 for now.
Very Dissapointed
I have used several Apex triggers in M&Ps with excellent results, so I naturally had to try one for my Gen 3 Glock 17. It installed just how a Glock trigger should, easy and instant but had several failures to reset. I did notice the safety tab was making more contact with the frame than usual so I removed some metal from the rear for better clearance. Problem solved or so I thought, the failure to reset was actually because the striker was slipping off of the trigger bar upon the slide return. Replaced the factory trigger and bar, problem solved. Just to make sure, I tried it in my Gen 3 19 and same result. This piece will definitely be sent back, I'd much rather spend a little more for a ZEV or Agency Arms and know my trigger will reset each and every time.
Didn't last 18 months
Took me a long time to trust on it. After install it in my duty gun it didn't last 18 months. The trigger safety stop broke. The central part got out of position and avoid me to pull the trigger. There wasn't any excessive or abusive use of it. It just make my trigger 300 grams lighter so it doesen't worth it. No help from the factory because it was an international order.
Don't trust it
I put this in a Gen4 G19 after confirming with the manufacturer the Gen3 trigger bar would work. I'm also a certified Glock armorer. This alone makes the trigger press a little smoother and I was happy with that. However, the gun started having issues returning to battery. It happened once every 25 rounds of live fire, but every single time when dry firing. The trigger bar wasn't depressing the firing pin safety plunger enough, causing a significant amount of extra friction. Put the original trigger back in and it works like it's new again. Disappointed I wasted money, shouldn't have messed with perfection.
Not what I expected
I thought I was going to get a flat trigger but it's just a polymer rounded trigger like stock.
NOT Safe!
I received one of these triggers as a gift and once I had it installed, I tested the function and realized that the trigger safety does not properly re-engage once the shooter's finger is removed from the trigger (i.e. if you are using a "ride the reset" method, or if you even put your finger on, then off the trigger, the trigger will then allow firing without touching the trigger safety) I exchanged it for another thinking the first one was just a lemon. The safety on the second trigger properly engages about half the time, which is still not an acceptable level of safety. As such, I can't use it or recommend it and thought others should be aware of this potential issue. I decided to go with a different trigger altogether, which is a shame because I liked the straight profile of this APEX trigger.
