ACRAGLAS RELEASE AGENT

ACRAGLAS RELEASE AGENT Reviews & Ratings

ACRAGLAS RELEASE AGENT

Our traditional Release Agent and our new, easy-to-ship, Non-Flammable Release Agent selectively lets Acraglas bond to the stock but not to the barreled action. Both products present nearly indentical physical characteristics, and are applied in exactly the same manner with no noticeable difference in dry time. Both form a smooth, vinyl-like coating between the bedding compound and metal. Non-Flammable Release Agent is a non-flammable, non-hazardous formula that can be transported by air, immediately upon request, safely and legally within and outside the Continental U. S., so there’s no more waiting for ground shipments to arrive when you need an Acraglas kit or extra release agent in a hurry.

This product works great
Both the paint on (blue), and spray on, work fantastic! There is a thin residue with the blue paint on, the spray on wipes off clean. I have yet to find a better product. I've been making stocks for over twenty years.

Excellent Release Agent
This is an excellent product; counter to what a prior reviewer has posted. The unsatisfied user likely had silicon or oil residue still present which would result in their experience. I've used this product for 30 years in glass bedding and lure making (!) which it excels in both! Only caveat: don't let it sit for years on your shelf...it will dry out in time after opened.

Been using the original release agent for 40 years and have yet to find anything better. Works great.

Release agent
Works very well. One coat usually is sufficient if you are careful to let it dry completely. Drying can be speeded up with a hair dryer. Cleans up easly.

Worthless
This stuff is GARBAGE, it would not coat evenly for nothing, it would just blob up like fish-eyeing on a paint job when its oily, if there was a ZERO rating I would have clicked it.

Don't waste your money
This product does not work well. Had allot of trouble with it. Buy the regular release agent that states flammable instead.

JUNK
I gave it one star, because they don't have 0. This stuff is a waste of time and money. Bottle says put on 2 coats, well you better put on 3 or 4 if you want it to release. Put it on heavy and wet to get the best release. I will NEVER buy another bottle. -- JUNK !!!!
