ABRASIVE WOOL

Synthetic, non-metallic alternative to steel wool is long lasting and won’t rust or shed fibers. Use on wood, plastic, or metal to produce a desired finish, or to clean away rust, carbon, dirt, or crud deposits. Lasts longer than steel wool—when the fibers get clogged with debris, just wash the pad with cold water, air dry, and it’s ready to reuse on other projects. Brownells, what can I say!!

This non steel wool is fantastic, I do a lot of military stock work and refinishing. It’s better than steel wool, no shards and steel particles on the floor when I’m burnishing stocks. There is no oil to wash out of it either. You can’t hardly wear this stuff out. I bought the fine and medium. Good stuff.

Good product but a pretty small amount.

Nice material but the description does not mention that this is one 0.5-ounce pad measuring 4.5"x3.25"x1.5" - not a traditional 8-ounce bag with a dozen pads. However, since it is washable, it may last longer than expected.
