Good quality but bad performance

This thread protector sticks out slightly past the end of the barrel causing interference with the gas coming out of the barrel and forcing cone. This caused the groups to increase by double out of my Grendel. With out any break or thread protector it constantly shoots a 1 in group with Hornady black 123gr eld m and with this thread protector the groups where 2-2 1/4 inch groups. This was a well made product with clean machining but my rifle didn't like it at all.
