Muzzle tools
The muzzle cutting tools and pilots worked great. That’s the kind of quality I expect from Brownells. The one problem I had was with the drill chuck adapter. The quarter by 20 threads would not except the cutters until I ran a tap in and out several times. After that everything worked great.

Excellent product when used with the handle and brass pilot. Just go slow using cutting fluid and clean / check periodically.
Works Great
Works great and cuts quickly. Don't apply a lot of pressure just let the cutter work. Use a gracious amount of cutting oil and brush off slag bits often with brass brush. Used this to put a target crown on a Remington 788 I was restoring.
Great Job
I had an old .22 with a pitted muzzle and wanted to clean it up and see if it will improve accuracy. It cleaned it up good but haven't been out to shoot yet to see about the accuracy. I made the pilot and handle myself on a lathe instead of buying them to save a little money. I bought the 3/4" not the 1/2" because of the size of the barrel. I'll include before, middle and after pictures.

I have a .243 that I had recrowned decades ago by a gunsmith. It was a recessed target crown that was off center! Ive wanted to do this myself for a long time. I took my time and got a fantastic result. I probably wont even blue the fresh crown. Its nice to know that I can redo the crown at anytime because I have the tools. I purchased the 6mm pilot for my .243 and .223 pilot so I could practice on my AR15s, figured I could always put muzzle device back on if I hated the result. Use cutting oil for sure. The hardest part is getting that last cut perfectly chatter free. I found if I cleaned off the cutter and barrel and used light pressure for only a couple turns (also dont stop turning once you start, pull back cutter without stopping) I got a very clean cut.
Easy crowning tool
I use it to do quick touch-ups to dinged muzzles and also when cutting and crowning. Works good and fast with good results.

Easy to use with perfect results. I needed to repair a Ruger 77/44 damaged grown. First time for me,and took just 15 min. Results proved it self at the range,no more flyers.
