Bought the 9” kit on a random sale from Brownells, and paired it with a .300blk pistol on a 9.25” MI rail. Turned out kinda cool for a frankengun made of mostly leftover oem AR parts. The launcher is heavy as its constructed very solid, lockup is good, and plenty of relief is cut out to help finger extract the spent flare casings that don’t fall out on their own. Only thing I don't like about it is having to press the breech lock button to close the launcher.

Great Price for a high quality well built, reliable, durable and good looking launcher! Attach it to your favorite AR15 and say hello to my little friend!😂or get the stock and have a stand alone little badass looking launcher all by it’s self! Definitely worth the money and highly recommend it. And affordable to get you started with flares and smoke rounds. A fun novelty hobby without the hassle and expense of a real launcher. I’m sure if you wanted to go that route you could send this one out and go through all the proper and legal paperwork and licensing and would probably be an entry level DD launcher. But If you have that kind of money you’d probably be buying something a lot cooler bigger and badder! If you load your own round just make sure you do your research and only load the rounds that are with in the parameters of the law! Or just buy them from a reputable place that sells them! Stay safe enjoy and remember always abide by the law with these.

Honestly I bought this due to the 37mm ammo that IWA International is making. I bought some hand held training devices from them, I.e. smoke grenades and distraction devices. I saw that they made 37mm and after a little research I found the stand alone spikes havoc kit. This is such a fun toy and the build quality is quite amazing, very very robust, sturdy, and well made. I swapped out the grip and stock for Magpul and it turned out really cool. Pair this with the ammo options from IWA International and you have yourself a really fun toy.

Solid and durable construction. If you mount it to the underbarrel, it will add considerable weight. However most synthetic stock weapon systems are considerably lighter than wood variants, so weight increase would be manageable. Only recommendation is either application of Lock tight to mounting screws or to perform PMCS on screws every so often to ensure they do not loosen. If the screws loosen, they will prevent the chamber from sliding forward to eject and reload shells. Other than this issue, a solid product. Would recommend to anyone wanting/needing to own a Grenade Launcher.

Let me start by saying - I have not used this yet. I traded with a friend to end up with this and hope to play with it soon. Here is what I have learned so far. First - the construction looks very nice. the launcher looks and feels very well made. I have seen a couple potential issues however. First issue is when mounted on a rifle it feels bulky. I cannot imagine wanting to leave it mounted on a rifle permanently. Also, it keeps wanting to wiggle loose when mounted on a rifle. The mounting system is two allen heads screwing into the gaps on a rail. Maybe locktight would help but this seems like not the best design for hard use. Also, I have the yankee hill "light" rail which has holes in the rail as well. Murphys law was in play as the allen heads did not line up right and I could not mount it on this rail as only one of the screws linded up. You would neeed a standard rail with no holes anywhere to make this work. I still like the product and will buy the havok stock to fully trick it out. I would rather have the entire setup in a packback rather than mount it to a rifle anyway. Overall score - I like it but do not think mounting it to the gun is practical. I will get the stock.

The good thing about this launcher is that it's novel and fun, but once the novelty wears off and you take an objective look at it you realize that everyone singing praise to the Spikes Tactical Havoc launchers on YouTube and message forums is kidding themselves and misleading others into purchasing this. Truth is The emperor has no clothes. It is poorly designed and poorly made. Specifically... -the breech release must be depressed to open AND close the launcher. -The breech does not close tightly. -If not previously charged the firing pin can float past the breechface and create a slam-fire hazard. -The safety does not positively engage/disengage but has a full 360 degree range of motion. -The aluminum the barrel is made from is soft. -The rubber end for the charging handle comes unthreaded. -The launcher is held into rails by 3 Allen screws which will work themselves loose. -There is no extractor. -The launcher does not self charge upon closing the breech. -The safety does not automatically engage upon closing the breech or charging. -The above problems are not bypassed by ha in a double a tion trigger. The $300+ price point for this launcher is excessive when the poor design and poor craftsmanship is taken into account. I would advise anyone to save their money for a better launcher unless their budget strictly prohibits it.

It looks cool... Even when mounted properly there phone tech said, wobble is normal. Also if you reposition the mounting screws to the outer slots, you run the risk of the forward screw loosening making it not function. Meaning you can't put it in battery, or remove it off your rail. A paper weight foregrip is not worth it. It's a pain to get off.
