3.5 CONNECTOR for GLOCK® Reviews & Ratings

I bought three of these and installed them into three g22's, G22TSF, and a G17 and all three I tried in the above guns wouldn't either fire or reset. Reinstalled OEM or ghost connectors I had at the time which were the edge 3.5 and they all functioned flawlessly. Best drop in connector and lightest in the world is the ghost 3lb. angel connector that has ZERO anti flinch or bump you feel around the middle of the trigger pull. Ghost also makes a connector with some of it's over travel removed which is great for self defense as well as the angel being a great self defense connector just doesn't have the over travel removed on the angel and the other model that does have some over travel removed is a 3.5lb. Connector but hands down ghost us the best. I recommend and use in all my GLOCKS is the lightest drop in bump free angel connector and then simply buy a $55 Lone Wolf (UAT)Ultimate Adjustable Trigger that comes with pre and over travel INSIDE gun adjustments with zero gun dissemble to adjust. I just recommend to put both the pre and over travel set screws into the trigger and then before install screw in the set screw and little at a time and then back as far out as possible without falling out and then go a little father forward and again all the way back without falling out and keep dongle this over and over and you'll see the finish coat being stripped out of the treads that I had a few triggers for years thinking that the over travel adjustment was threaded deep enough so I never used it till I recently took all my triggers out to send bank to LW and then really could get the very thin allen wrenches to do as I says above and after getting the threads clear of the anodizing the set screw could go in far enough to got the trigger bar like it never did before so I'm pretty sure now I can fully adjust the over travel as well as the pre travel that I could adjust in the gun and was nice. But must important is over travel since that's when the bullet is being fired and your gun will flinch more if it goes father back. But with the over travel fully adjusted properly and safely along with the prevtravel fully removed you can make much more accurate and a faster shots since the over all trigger length of pull is cut about in half. So for about $85-$90 you can buy the trigger and connector and don't waste money on anyone else's trigger bar since they're all the same 99% you can have a real nice trigger. I also recommend a 6lb. Trigger spring for an actual lighter trigger pull and faster resets due to the extra pound over the standard OEM 5lb. Spring. I also highly recommend polishing your trigger bar at least on all contact surfaces along with the connector using a simple dremel tool and polishing wheel with brownells green polish compound or of course use a full size polishing wheel but the dremel actual works best so you can get in the little right areas really well on the connector and the trigger bar. FYI... Just melt the OEM trigger around the pin you can see and eventually you can pull it out with a pair of needle nose or will push the pin right out and then the own polymer trigger off and can polish like I do or not and install the $55 Lone Wolf UATrigger and save yourself about $20 if you buy the $75 setup from LW that has the bare trigger shoe that I recommend getting alone for $55 and they add an extra $20 for a at best $10 OEM trigger bar and trust me LW's trigger bar is NO different at all as they claim it's a little different at the tip or nub that rides across the safety depressor plunger. Also recommend LW's $50 titanium firing pin that makes a HUGE feel in the trigger for the better. And a titanium safety plunger with reduced power spring. But do NOT take the firing pin spring and lower it EVER unless it JUST for competition from an OEM 5lb. Down to a 4lb. Or less. You WILL HAVE LIGHT PRIMER STRIKES which can be the end of you in a self defense situation. All I've mentioned is for a SAFE SELF DEFENSE trigger that I recommend to install and this is what myself and my family carries every single day for self defense. Plus there fun to shoot at the range too! That's my ten cents on having the best possible self defense trigger out there for the money. If you want a different trigger I'd still use all the rest of the parts in the pound of springs I recommended above. And NEVER EVER use Wolff's springs... Just PURE FAILURE/GAMBLES... Just my opinion of my experiences from there springs in multiple different applications and guns. These are just my opinions off of real world carry and use. Take from it what you want or don't. Just truly to help people not waste money, hurt themselves, or get themselves hurt or worse in a self defense situation.

I bought 8 of these recently. Trigger pull was over 5 lbs. I called Brownells and was told they'd send a replacement for the one, and suggested I try others to see how they performed. I objected to this, but decided to do so later in the day. I have installed several of them now. Each one has been different! None have been repeatable. Three in my own Glocks two in my son's Glocks. Trigger pull was reduced to varying degrees, none under 4.5 lbs. One would not let the gun fire at all. That one is my oldest, an early G17 that had a 3.5 connector in it already performing flawlessly for all these years. I put the old one back in and all is back to normal with a 5+ lb pull weight. I then installed one in my G20 and got striker fall (firing) upon trigger return with almost most every time fired. (Thankfully, I did not have ammo in the gun then!) Again I returned the one I had removed and got back to normal. I then tried another of the LWD ones and had no trouble (and no improvement in pull). So far I've had more issues than successes with these connectors. Bad batch? Don't know. I await the one coming and will give that a try. So far I'm very concerned about using LWD connectors....in my Glocks or in customer guns. Last night I installed one in a customer's Glock 19. Measured pull before and after. Dry fired it several times and had no other issues, so I felt OK letting it go out. Pull was reduced from 5 3/4 down to 4.5 lbs. He was mildly happy. Added the Wolf trigger spring and it was no lighter, but felt to us like it was somewhat "better". He left happy enough. As a life-long target shooter and gun crank, I'm disappointed in this performance. Did not deliver the expected trigger pull reduction, and was not consistent nor even safe in way too many trials.
