30MM CANTILEVER SCOPE MOUNT

The Brownells AR-15 Cantilever Scope Mount is a true one-piece scope mounting solution for your AR-type "Modern Sporting Rifle." It positions the scope forward to give you plenty of eye relief, while it elevates the scope high enough for a comfortable head position and plenty of clearance for the objective bell. Machined from a solid billet of 6061 T6 aluminum, our AR-15 Cantilever Scope Mount is lightweight, strong, and rigid. A pair of hardened steel 1/2" hex nuts provide tremendous locking force to ensure your mount - and the scope attached to it - stays in place. Remove the mount/scope unit from the rifle and reinstall it with little-to-no shift in the scope’s zero.

Great scope mount

Used the mount for my vortex viper 5x25 scope. The cantilever is a big improvement over standard pic rail mounts. Will convert /upgrade some of my other rifle scopes to cantilever mount. Great product, highly recommend/will buy again. And the price is a super deal.

Precision at a Great Price

I was very impressed with the precision in this mount. I needed to raise my line of sight to enable use of a night scope mounted in front of my day scope's objective. So first I had to detach my scope from a low ring set knowing that I would need to re-zero. With my scope re-mounted to the Brownells base, I was shocked to see my first 3-round group within 1-inch of my point of aim at 50 yards. Now that's impressive precision built into the Brownells mount. I mean it is obviously "dead nuts straight.'

Scope mount.

Haven't mounted it yet. Well made and finished. I would really like to see one made in 34 mm. I have been looking for one but most are 20moa and not zero.

Great Mount if you dont want QD

I got this mount for free when I purchased a Vortex Viper. I keep wanting to upgrade it to something more expensive like an ADM, Larue, Geiselle, etc. But every time the thought pops into my head Im reminded that this mount has been rock solid and has never loosened or lost zero. As long as you follow the recommended torque specs this mount is mount works perfectly.

Stout, good finish, tight fit good

For the price, excellent value. Beefier than some like Burris PEPR and Vortex so a little heavier, but it's solid, with a good finish and stays put. Using with Vortex Viper 1-4 PST and works perfect. Just ordered another one for another incoming scope.

Excellent Quality for a Great Price

This mount came free when I purchased a Vortex Viper PST 1-6, and I don't think my rifle would be any more accurate if I would've paid $150-$200 for a mount. Excellent quality, very precise machining, and easy to install. My scope is rock solid on my rifle.

Well built mount

Haven't had a chance to fire rifle yet, but got it mounted on rifle which was easy to level scope with mount. Like the height for cheek weld.

Made in the USA

This is a solid made in the USA scope mount for only a few dollars more then some of the Chinese options out there. I like the 1/2" screw nuts much better than hex or torx head screws because everyone has a half inch socket or even and adjustable wrench handy. I just ordered my 2nd one of these.
