Ill make it stupid simple
This is a shorter buffer to use the standard Milspec buffer tube on the .308 AR. You will have to insert the buffer into the tube and check how far back the bolt goes without the spring installed (bolt sitting on the buffer against the rear of your tube) Then make sure the shorter buffer isnt being stopped by a spring which collapses longer than the buffer. You may need to clip a few rings off the spring, I started with a Wolff extra power anyway.
