Just what I was looking for.
I chose this Nitride BCG because I wanted a bolt with a .070" firing pin hole and the appropriate diameter firing pin. That's it. If it didn't, I would have returned it and looked elsewhere. The fact that it's identical to my Aero Precision BCG without the logo, that much better. I just wish Brownell's would have listed the above specs in the description.

Great BCG for the Money
What a great product, lot of people don't like to finish color of nickel boron even though it's a little harder than black nitrited steel. I would highly recommend it I feel like you're getting a lot for the money it works really well great quality steel made in USA.
308AR Bolt Carrier Group 308 Win Nickel
Purchased two of them, one to use with a bargain priced 308 barrel and one with a higher-end 6.5 Creedmore barrel. Seem to be quality materials that fit and function well in each rifle. I like the finish. Both bolts head-spaced well in the high-end Creedmore Barrel, but not in the bargain 308 barrel. Had to use a different bolt to properly head space in the bargain priced 308 barrel.
First 308 Build
Great BCG! Ran a few rounds and checked things out and was still flawless. Very pleased with the quality, price and functionality. I will be using more products from Brownells in the short future!
Great product low price!
Bolt headspace perfectly with BA gov. Profile 18 mid length bbl. Firing pin hole is .070 with .068 firing pin diameter. This one is in a 308. I ordered a second to use with a 6.5 creedmoor upper that I am currently building. I dont think there is a comparable bolt at a comparable price point, with a forever guarantee out there.

I am usually cautious on firearms parts that have an extremely great price. You get what you paid for usually triumphs when shelling out dough. I decided to take the leap due to the reviews on this BCG. I was surprised when I opened the package when it arrived. It is beautifully made with the same quality that more expensive BCGs flaunt. I have an Aero Precision Build with an Aero BCG. I dropped this Bolt in to check it's fit and it was smooth and solid. It almost felt smoother than the Aero BCG the upper has been broken into. I bought it for a spare at this price why not?
Exceptional value for the money
This BCG works in all my DPMS pattern AR-308 rifles and for the money it is hard to beat. Fit form and function are flawless.
Used in probably 30 builds
So, I checked gunsmith on here because none of the other descriptions really described accurately. I'm an FFL, and I build custom AR platform rifles. I build a lot of 308 and 6.5CR. A lot. I use AERO Precision almost exclusively because I'm a dealer for them. I've had issues with 308 bolts in the past, several acutally, but not one of Brownells. It's just a quality product, without a doubt. And for this sale price that they have had them at for however long it's been now, it's impossible to beat these things. Fully auto rated 308 bolt carrier for under $130.00. If you think that one of the other higher end manufacturers bolts are better, I can pretty much guarantee you they are not. I've used them all. And I've had issues at one time or another with them all except Brownell's.
Looks identical to PSA BCG in my PA-10.
Just received this bcg and first off let me start by saying, It looks beautiful! The finish is perfect, nicely retail packed. I havent tested it out yet, literally just received it. WILL UPDATE WHEN I DO. secondly this BCG is IDENTICAL to the BCG that came in my 18 Nitride PSA PA-10, I mean to the tee. So for the price point thus far its been worth it. Like I said Ill update when I test fire in my rifle. But 5 stars on craftsmanship so far.
