The 1911AI™is useful with mags of width less than 14.5mm (0.57″). Wider mags will not fit in.

It works!

While the Aligner Insert is not essential for loading single stack magazines, it really does stabilize the Uplula Magazine Loader. Loading my single stack 9 mm or .45 ACP magazines is so quick and simple with the Uplula Mag. Loader and Aligner Insert. Don't go to the range without them!

Great for UPLULA if you 1911 single stack mags

Great for UPLULA if you 1911 single stack mags. The UPLULA is designed for 9mm to 45cal magazines. The Aligner is a device that pops in the bottom of the UPLULA and removes the slack that single stack 1911s cause. All my UPLULAs have an Aligner attached to the little split ring on the UPLULA so I can pop the Aligner on or off depending on the magazine I'm loading

Fantastic Accessory For Single Stack Mag

Makes loading single stack handgun magazines with the Maglula Loader a breeze. Wish I had known about this years ago. I have used it with 1911, Springfield Armory EMP and Star Model BM magazines. Well worth the price.

Great item but.....

Works like a charm for my Colt magazines for my Colt Officers Model. However, this will NOT work for the .45ACP single stack magazines that are used for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 45 due to the width of the magazines. However, I recommend these algners for everyone out there that is experiencing a tinge of arthritis that we old farts seem to get!
