1911 Perfection!
Awesome trigger that complements any color frame or grips! Requires sanding on top, bottom, and sides of the shoe to allow the trigger shoe and bow to slide into the frame. I used 320, 600, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit 3M Wet/Dry sandpaper for autobody finishing to achieve a "drop in" fit, literally. (stand on the muzzle end of frame and allow it to slide into the tracks in the frame under the pull of gravity.) Using an Norton Ultra Fine Arkansas stone I broke the sharp edges on the bow, magazine and frame sides. Polished entire trigger and bow with Meguiar's Mag and Aluminum Polish. It works in the firearm now like ball bearings on glass. Excellent finish and construction. I highly recommend this trigger!

requested review
It worked. As instructions stated, file down small amount of trigger body to allow to fit snuggly into firearm. Nothing else needed. I am a gunsmith but anyone could have used this replacement. It replaced a light trigger that was in an expensive STI which I sold the customer. Apparently he somehow managed to bend the original or it was defective. Straightening it with the tool inside it did not fix so had to replace.

Very ltttle work required
Put this in a 1911 builders frame.Just a little filing on the top with a file,Seems to need very little on the front top especially. break the corners to a little chamfer, stone and Bob is your uncle. Wish it came with the little hex wrench.

Short trigger
Bought it for myself Easy install . Adjusted with a few strokes of a file. Easy to adjust over travel.

Great trigger
Put this in my Springfield GI 45. It did require I minor bit of filing, but definitely fine for DIY. Looks great. Feels smooth. Less play than stock. Great price.

As advertised and a great rproduct
This is the perfect example of a match grade part. I fitted this to a MIL Spec Springfield 1911. A little filing was needed on the top and it fit perfect. The other reviews complaining about have to fit this part should not be replacing parts on their guns. Most match grade parts require some fitting and it states that in the description. If you don;t want to fit a match grade part, keep your firearm the way it is. Top grade parts as usual from Ed Brown. Total time to install, including fitting - 10 minutes.
