Nicest screw available
I rebuild 5-6 custom guns every year. These screws allow me to provide a custom look in a variety of finishes. I can sand them down and bead blast them to match the frame, spin them, use a brush finish, or have them coated. They are thick enough to use as is or make them a little more domed. (Haven't polished them yet). With the sale, I bought a bunch to see me through the next two years but I hope this screw isn't discontinued. It adds a real classy look without being overbearing. Never had a problem with them stripping or snapping off. I use Challis bushings it makes a great combination. Quality product from Brownells.

They stand out
Cant beat the price, got them on sale just for a few bucks. They fit nice and definitely look apart, I just wish the color wasnt so dull. Description said stainless steel, but its more gray than anything. Bottom line, for the price theyre great.

No problems
Installed them on a Colt with Magpul grips and a Pierce finger groove wrap around. Tightened up with no problems. The bit fits into the screw perfectly. The top of the screw is just flush with the grip when tightened up.

Alot better than the reviews
First things first, is it easy to strip a screw in general flat head or other wise? Answer: yes if you over tighten or if you have a poor fit from the driver and the fastener. With that said I love this grip screw!!! With the rubber o-ring installed and tightened down these things are amazing they look great and if you decide to use magpul FDE grips I cannot imagine one looking better. I was a little worried after reading the reviews. However, I feel that they are not taking into account of what caused them to strip(that being more of a user error than a performance issue). They threaded on perfect, snugged up and tighten down perfectly. Being completely honest on one of the screws as I was torquing it down I started to feel the driver bit lose contact with the screw head. I stopped immediately repositioned my screwdriver and finished up. I ordered these for my S&W but I but one in my build project with magpul FDEs and they look so good I want to order another set for it. My advice just slow down and take your time. I am sad to see these screws go.

Secure
Used to replace factory screws on 7 - 1911's in the past 4 years. Remain tight. Have experienced no problems.

What I Wanted
Different. Easy to install. Goes well with the grips recently purchased. Will recommend them to my friend's.

Tri wing grip screws
These are for any standard 1911 set of grips and have a unique look to them. However, they are made of very soft metal and despite the fact that the driver fits perfectly, it still buggers the edges if tightened up to spec. Nice idea, not well enough made, and obvious why they are on clearance.

Tri=wing grip screws 1911
Look great work like junk. first two of the screws have a different finish. noticed after installing, came close to striping one screw that had to be removed to match finish of other. Would not buy these again

VERY TALL Heads; perfect for THICK Grip
'Should be known that these WILL Stick out CONSIDERABLY, and if you want to use them for standard thickness grips you will likely be disappointed. For THICK grips they'd be superb.! They look great in profile in any case.

to soft
The screw head stripsout very easily. They look good on 2 of my comp 1911's, but poor quality...
