I could not believe the difference.

I had one of my 1911 GI pistols de horned. It was bad until I got it smoothed. Being old as they get, I had trouble with tripping the slide stop. I ordered one of these extended slide stops. It is so much better. Now the old warhorse is my favorite.

Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Product arrived in a timely fashion, new, as advertised with the proper extra length for .355" ammo. i've purchased at least 3 of these and never had an issue. i always check the engagement surface, upon receipt, to be sure it's the correct length [9mm vs .45].

Very good slide stop

I have a few 1911s, ruger and smith and wesson, and the slide stop fit no problems. I had an issue with the follower jumping the slide stop and this solved that. I did notice that this slide stop is cut different then other slide stops and has a better purchase on the follower. Problem solved.

Fit my series 70 1911 perfectly

The original part broke, causing a failure of the slide to lock open on an empty magazine. This part dropped into my 1911 gold cup national match in a few seconds. Works perfectly.

Perfect fit

I have a new Iver Johnson 1911 snakeskin. Slide would not lock with CM mags (brand new) but would lock back with other brands of mags. Put this Wilson slide lock lever in and problem solved. Slide locks back each time now with all mags. Drops in just like package says. Worth every penny to ensure proper function !!!!

Perfect Fit and Solution

I purchased two of these as replacements for OEM Slide Stops in Desert Eagle 1911Gs when the OEM slide stops became unreliable in locking the slide open after last round was fired, independent of the magazine brand. The follower engagement lug extends a bit deeper into the magazine well, and all magazines will now lock the slide open on last round fired.

Works like a charm.

Had some issues going to slide lock and releasing magazines. Some were Springfield, Wilson Combat, & Dawson Precision. Threw this bad boy in and fixed everything. Now running this in all my 1911's.
