Restored Safety Function Needed Break in
A Gunsmith at some point shaved the original bevertail internals to the point it only sometimes engaged. I was finally red flagged in competition for that. This restored the function with no change to spring settings, etc. It did take about 500 live and dry fires to smooth out as it was gritty and sometimes sticky newly installed. Each gun is different Colt Series 80 Mk IV 1983 SS. I only use Ed Brown parts in it.
