Manufactured from top grade tool steel to provide precise fit and reliable, consistent function under the most demanding conditions. Each part is wire EDM'd and CNC machined for a precise +/- .0005" tolerance then heat treated to Rc 53 - 56, then honed and mirror polished to give Extreme Service in your pistol. The hammer is slightly narrowed to avoid unwanted contact with the slide or ejector and features the standard original round hole configuration. The spur has deep serrations to help you keep the hammer under control and all exterior corners are CNC machine beveled to minimize snagging and abrasion. The sear is shaped to minimize excess material, reducing weight. The sear nose features a polished primary angle and breakaway angle. Fully polished surfaces mean smooth operation in the points of contact between the disconnector, sear and hammer. Available in the white or with an IonBond Black hammer.

Hardened tool steel, in-the-white or with black IonBond hammer. Hardened to Rc 53-56. Some fitting may be required.

Installed in a Springfield Armory Operator with the AOS option. Had to refit thumb safety which is expected using tool steel sear over the thin mim part that came with pistol. Harrison design is top notch.

Excellent parts!

Had another 1911 fitted with this set. Again, good looking, great trigger now as a result. No creep, crisp let off, and no over travel. Like the look of a Commander or ring hammer on any 1911.

If you want a ring hammer . . .

My gunsmith installed this set on both my 25 yr old Springfield Armory Government Model and a new Ruger Commander. Some basic fitting/stoning was required. The end result was a very crisp, zero creep, and no over travel 3 1/2 lb. trigger on both guns. I was after a better trigger, but I was also interested in the appearance of that ring hammer, particularly on my Ruger Commander. Beautiful, very pleasing to my eye. Winter gun projects include the same treatment on a Colt Defender and a Lightweight Commander. Other than the aesthetics, the quality of this kit is superb and seems a good value for the cost. My smith commented on the superior quality as well.
