Good Product
I got these screws to use with a Hogue grooved rubber grip for my Colt 1911 Government Model. The combination of the bright Stainless Steel screws and the black monogrip really changed the appearance of the gun to the point that several people asked me if I had purchased a new 1911!

Great Quality & Good Looking
I messed up a screw and bushing attempting to install a Pachmayr Finger Groove grip on my Colt Government 38 Super. I ordered a set of the stainless bushings along with these matching hex screws. Taking the advise of one of the reviewers I also ordered a bushing tool which made the removal and installation of the new bushings a snap. These looked and functioned so well I removed the three good bushings and used this complete set of bushings and screws. The end result a much better looking 1911 with that stainless steel showing up on the black grip. I would highly recommend the stainless bushing & hex screws and certainly add one of those bushing tools to your order if you do not have one.

Great fit and enhance the appearance.
These stainless steel hex screws came with a hex wrench for installation. Removed my blued screws and simply installed these. They make a nice difference in the appearance of the gun also. I used these on my Thompson 1911TCA and had no problem with the fit.

What's to say
Switched over to the hex heads on my 1911's. Love 'em.

Great grip screws
I have a bad habbit of breaking the heads off most factory grip screws. Since I switched to the Wilson Combat screws, I havent broken one yet. They are definately stronger than stock and look great too.

DOES NOT FIT 1911 NORINCOS
I ordered 2 sets for my Norinco 1911s. The label in the Wilson packet says : Fits most 1911 Styles excet the Norinco * 1911. If I had gone to the Wilson internet site I would have known not to order this product. Will sell them on to someone with a suitable 1911.Would be great if they fitted.

Weak
I've tried these many times over 20 yrs. The head breaks far too easily off the screw. Makes it impossible to over tighten. Unfortunately it also is impossible to tighten enough so they won't back until while shooting.

Not like they used to be! What happened?
Unfinished, poor quality, not like previous purchases of same item. These screws are not beveled or polished. Theyre dull with rough edges and burrs. See picture: Screw on the left is a Wilson Combat 313s I purchased a year ago, on the right is the one I just received from Brownells. What happened?

Breaks Easly
Grip screws easly break when tightning and loosening. I would not recommend. The first time I thought it was just a chance occurence. On the second, third and fourth break, I knew it was quality. These were not all on the same gun and were not from the same package.
