Perfect width and easy to see

I have used this on two builds and the improved sight picture is great. The size is also perfect for fitting to Novak front dovetail. There was enough to file and ensure a tight fit.

awesome front sight

I really like this sight - I have put it on 3 of my 1911s. As my eye are aging out, the orange is much easier to pick up quickly. A quick comment - per the package the depth is .075 not .065 as in the description here. I attached a chart I found useful for knowing different manufacturers front sight dimensions...
